Day 1
Pick up from Trivandrum Airport - Poovar
Pick up from Trivandrum Airport, Meet our representative and transfer to Poovar. Poovar is a small coastal fishing island at the southern tip of Thiruvananthapuram, district in Kerala. The village is embraced by a beautiful beach on one side and the backwaters on the other. It is a network of lagoons, lakes, canals, estuaries, deltas, interspersing forty-four rivers that join the Arabian Sea. It is said that the picturesque sight of red kovala flowers floating in the Neyyar River led to name the river as pu (flower) ar (river) or the river of flowers.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Poovar - Kanyakumari day trip - poovar
After breakfast Proceed to Kanyakumari, the southern tip of peninsular India, it offers a unique experience of sunrise & sunset. Visit rock memorial dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, the Gandhi Memorial, Suchidram Temple with exquisite sculpture & musical pillars dedicated to Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva. Evening back to Poovar. Over night stay at Hotel
Day 3
Poovar - Kollam
After breakfast proceed to Kollam .Kollam was once an international emporium of trade and even today it is a prosperous commercial center. Kollam is located on the edge of the famous Ashtamudi. Visit Ashtamudi back water, Cashew Factory, Thangassery Light House etc.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Kollam (Jatayu Earth Centre)
Morning after breakfast drive to Chadayamangalam to explore the Jatayu earth Centre. The giant concrete statue of Jatayu
is built on a mighty rock named Jatayupara (para means rock in Malayalam). The colossal statue is 200 feet long, 150 feet
wide and 70 feet making is the largest functional bird sculpture in the world with an enter into the Guinness Book of World
Records.
Evening drive back to Backwater Resort & Stay overnight at resort
Day 5
Departure transfer
(02 HRS DRIVE) Morning after breakfast departure transfer to Trivandrum International Airport.
