Itinerary

Day 1Phnom Penh Arrival and Half day tour with Naga Casino (B/-/-)

The capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, was formerly referred to as the “Paris of the East”. Our driver and guide meet you at the Phnom Penh International Airport and take you to the hotel. Breakfast is offered with early check-in.

After climbing the steps of a small hill to see Wat Phnom Temple in the afternoon, the city tour continues with a visit to the impressive Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which is located in a former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention and torture center, known as “S-21.” This will give you an understanding of Cambodia’s recent history. A somber yet crucial trip that will deepen your understanding of Cambodia. In the evening, drop off at Naga Casino.

Day 2Half day tour and depart to Siem Reap by public bus (B/-/-)

You will begin your day by touring the renowned Royal Palace, which was constructed in 1866 during the French protectorate and King Norodom and is one of the city’s main attractions. Constructed in 1962, the nearby Silver Pagoda is well-known for its ornate decorations, silver floor, and several Buddha sculptures crafted from precious metals and stones. Shopping in Central Market, or Phsar Thmey in Khmer, comes next. where you can experience a little bit of the busy daily lives of the locals. Savor some of the regional cuisine of Cambodia while admiring the blend of Khmer and Colonial architecture in Phnom Penh. You will be taken to the bus station in the late afternoon to board a public bus to Siem Reap.

The driver will pick you up when you arrive and take you to the hotel to check in.

Day 3Full Day Angkor Wat (B/-/-)

The uncovering of the fundamentals of the Angkor temples is the focus of today. Let’s start by touring Angkor Wat, which is undoubtedly the most well-known and best-preserved temple in the Angkor complex. The enormous three-story building is topped by five towers that resemble lotuses and rise 65 meters above the ground. After that, pay a visit to the historic walled city of Angkor Thom, which served as the final capital of the Great Khmer Empire under Jayavarman VII’s rule. The primary components of this 12th-century masterwork are the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, and the royal enclosure. It has remained a picturesque and evocative labyrinth of trees sprouting from the ruins, unlike the majority of other Angkor temples. Go back to the hotel.

Day 4Siem Reap sightseeing (B/-/-)

OPTION 1: HALF DAY TONLE SAP LAKE

We travel 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap to see the Chong Kneas Floating Villages after breakfast. Experience the Tonle Sap, the largest lake in Asia and the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, aboard a traditional wooden boat. Numerous illustrations of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap will be presented here.

After breakfast, take a private vehicle to Phnom Kulen National Park from your accommodation.  We proceed to the hilltop of Phnom Kulen, where our experienced local guide will show you the most breathtaking tourist destinations in the national park, such as the River of Thousand Linga, which was built in 802 AD, the reclining Buddha statue, and the biggest and most exquisite waterfalls. You will be responsible for paying for your own lunch at a local waterfall, where you can sample a range of Khmer cuisine.
